Change is more often than not a subtle breeze that blows through a collection. In a subtle rebrand, fashion designer Christophe Lemaire has changed the name of his eponymous line to the simplistic ‘Lemaire’. This shift comes in light of a shift within the business itself, which sees Lemaire’s partner Sarah-Linh Tran appointed as the brand’s studio director.
Christophe Lemaire learnt his craft through internships at Christian Lacroix, Yves Saint Laurent and Thierry Mugler. Formerly the artistic director of Lacoste and Hermès, the Frenchman is now focused exclusively on his own label.
As a designer, he has a natural gift towards pure, clean lines and simplistic luxury. Each piece is constructed of the highest quality of materials and breathes elegance. And each season, he presents qualitative men’s and women’s collections with attention to detailing and designed for everyday life. The wardrobe consists of what Christophe describes as 'real' clothing and singular pieces with comfortable volumes influenced by the cosmopolitan Paris streets of yesterday and today.
Lemaire is available at Graanmarkt 13 and in our e-shop.
