Graanmarkt 13 is a warm and welcoming home, where every floor tells a story. In 2010, renowned Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen renovated our majestic and traditional townhouse from head to toe. His sense of style can be felt throughout our white facade and now as well on our cosy-looking outdoor terrace.

From the beginning, a clear relationship between architecture, interior and product design has been Van Duysen’s driving force behind the conception of projects, inspired by subtle transitions between these disciplines and combined with a spatial design attitude, constantly striving for the essence.
The August chairs and side tables that can be found on our outdoor terrace are a series of minimalist objects that effortlessly combine the history of the monastic environment with a modern interpretation. The August collection by Vincent Van Duysen for Serax is made of aluminium with a powder coating that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
