About 'Loopy'
Graphic designers Mary Pelders and Pieter Vos wanted to create a super-functional lamp that could spread happiness as well as light – an energetic counterpoint to the angular fun-suckers that proliferate in homes and offices. Made from lightweight plastic and aluminium, and unapologetically yellow from socket to socket, Loopy Lamp is the result of that mission. Its flexible, snake-like design cheerfully adapts to the demands of the hour. What starts as mood lighting can become a reading lamp, a spotlight on a painting – even a light-emitting sculpture – as your day progresses.

About RiRa Objects
Founded in 2020 – the year we all saw a little more of the inside of our homes than expected – RiRa is a new destination for extremely cheering contemporary home objects from the Low Countries. Worthy of pride and place in any room, RiRa’s designer pieces are developed and manufactured in the Netherlands and Belgium by the most esteemed creative minds working today.
RiRa was born as stylist Gijsje Ribbens and fashion agent Bart Ramakers convened for socially distanced walks during Amsterdam’s first lockdown. Their idea was to build an e-commerce platform where design is curated with a fashion eye.
RiRa launched with an edit of propositions from three leading design world talents. Wallpaper* Designer of the Year 2020 Sabine Marcelis presents an all-new and affordable range of her masterpiece mirrors. Epoxy guru Vincent de Rijk has made lustrous, shallow bowls in a range of hypnotising colours and opacities. Industrial design duo Muller Van Severen have fashioned a modular Pillow Chair that’s the perfect mix of conceptual and comfortable.
In 2021 they added two designs, glassware by Nienke Sikkema and a cheerful lamp by Mary Pelders and Pieter Vos.
“RiRa is all about covetable, unique pieces that will spark conversation, stoke imagination and raise a smile. Our goal is to provide that one gorgeous object that will instantly make any room fancy and be treasured for years to come.”
