Nicolas Erauw

Description
This beautiful vase by Belgian designer Nicolas Erauw is part of an on-going 'Phytotelma' series, where a naturally formed cavity in a piece of nature is being used as a mould. The mould is used to blow glass and eternalize the hole as a phytotelma, literally meaning a water filled cavity in a terrestrial plant.
Each piece is one of a kind and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Materials
The vases are blown with great craftsmanship and passion. During the process, the pigment is added which determines the colour. After blowing, the vases are going into the oven to gradually cool down. The vases are then cut, sanded and polished.

International taxes & duties
If you're placing an order from outside of Europe, you might be charged for import duties and taxes by your local customs authority. These costs are directly dependent on the value of the ordered goods, the material they are made of and their country of origin. Because these duties vary per country, we advise you to consult your local customs authorities to inform yourself about possible charges before placing an order with us.
*Remark: as Switzerland and the United Kingdom are not active members of the EU, all imported goods must be customs-cleared. In most cases, this means that you are subject to paying duty on your import.
Please note that if you decide not to pay your import taxes or duties and consequently choose to reject the parcel, you will not be refunded for your order.
