Housed in a historic, whitewashed townhouse on a tree lined square in the city centre, Graanmarkt 13 is designed in the signature Brutalist style of Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen. Softened by the generous use of natural materials in muted tones, this multipurpose space – featuring a concept store, restaurant, gallery, and rental apartment – has a warmth and effortless style. We can’t help but wish that we could move in and call it home. Conceived and run by husband and wife team Tim Van Geloven and Ilse Cornelissens, Graanmarkt 13 is understated in its disposition, a true paean to contemporary Belgian design.
